Nice design, just some minutes walk from the centre, very delicious breakfast.
The staff were the best!! Buffet breakfast was a great surprise and very well prepared. I would definitely return. The CHZ people were among the nicest people I have ever met!
Beds were a little uncomfortable, but not bad. Rooms were great and quiet.
The room was of a good size, the bathroom modern, receptionist helpful.
No tea or coffee facilities, yellow lemonade was called "juice", fresh orange juice available but diy = very messy and time consuming. Very small tv, hard matresses, not very strong light, no space in fridge, room service slow, parking not obvious, reception located at the bar where smoking is permitted.
Good selection of fresh fruit on breakfast
Private parking was a fenced area in the backyard bushes secured with a padlock, no supervision
The receptionists were very helpful and the hotel, as the city was, was very clean.
There were no lifts, and curious curvy stairs. As our room was on the top floor (the third floor) getting to the room was a bit of a pain, especially when drunk or hungover and even more so when I kept forgetting things.
Staff were very friendly & helpful and made our stay very pleasant. 10 mins walk to the Old Town, 15 mins to Train station. Nice parks outside door.
No lift however the staff has been very helpfull with getting the suitcase up 3 high.No airconditioning with 30degrees C is not nice.
We enjoyed our rooms, especially the bathroom. The size of the bath was impressive as was the television in hte bathroom. We liked the fact that our rooms were near to the reception/dining room with ease of exit from the hotel. The two receptionists were nice people and the service on our first night was good.
1. No resturant facility.2.No English tv stations. 3. No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms.4 Unable to open windows in our to cool down the room, the air conditioning was noisy. 4 Didn't like the door in the bathroom which we were told not to open. We didn't know where this door led to and if other people could open it. On our first night it made us feel unsafe.
A very nice hotel, professional stuff, big room, good location close to center, wine bar in the room, luxury, we reserved a room for two, and got a big room for three, because we stayed for 4 nights. Good, hard matracess.
No elevator, expired chocolates in the bar, no shampoo, the kitchen in the room is useless, absolutely no equipment. However, these are minor points, we would stay again.
The apartment - which was a special suite - was great, particularly the largest bedroom and the bathroom. The room is quite large and well decorated. The smaller room was also fine, including the bath. In general, the design and furniture of the room were also very nice and modern. The room had available (paying) good wine, chips, chocolates, etc.
Regrettably we were very unlucky. In spite that the room was perfect, we discovered at night that the bed was full of ants and we had to change rooms (only for the largest one). The new room was in a different floor and was still OK, but could not compare to the one of the apartment. A really pity. Even though, the staff was really helpful and they were very embarrased with the situation. They offered us some discount becuase of the incident.
Hotel staff. We were a stag do group of 14 and their patience with us was endless! They were always helpful and seemed genuinely interested to help and tell us the sights we should see and the places (usually bars!) that we should visit.
The price! At around £55 a night for a hotel that it little out of town it was a bit high. Having said that, it is furnished nicely and is very clean.
Very friendly staff, secure parking and convenient for Brno town. We stayed here twice during our week in the Czech Republic and the quality of the accommodation far exceeded our expectations. Be sure to try the Tulip restaurant nearby which serves superb food including excellent Czech dishes at very reasonable prices.
The hotel was clean, modern and very near the city centre.
Friendly and very helpfull staff, comfortable and clean hotel, excellent service...
